Formation Meeting Set For May 12


April 18, 2009 -- The first meeting of the new Kansas City metro chapter of MACE will be held May 12 at the Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose FOCUS Center Auditorium, 3200 Wayne Avenue, Kansas City, MO at 10:00 a.m.

The formation of a local chapter will provide additional training and networking opportunities in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Among the subjects slated for the May 12 meeting are:

  • Naming the organization.
  • Selecting a logo.
  • Nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sergeant-At-Arms. If you want to run for office, please provide a brief bio.
  • Setting a time and date for the second meeting.

MACE First Vice President Johnny Benisch will be on hand to discuss the benefits of forming a local chapter. Benisch also serves as President of the St. Louis Association of Code Enforcement (SLACE), which has enjoyed great success in increasing membership for both SLACE and MACE in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
